Just Checking In

I feel like I have dropped off of the blogging radar as of late.  Got smacked with a massive case of viral tonsillitis this past week.  Felt like I got hit by a train, and then run over by a bull.  Not fun.  It got to the point where I was choking on my tonsils because of the swelling.  Went to see a doctor on Thursday...when he looked in my throat, he almost jumped back they were that messed up.  Oh, did I mention the ear infection to go along with it??  On the brighter side, I am getting well again, slowly.  Still can't talk much and missed three days of work over it.  Jeez!!

Anyway,  I did manage to get some quilting done, but failed to take photos yet.  Just some random work on some scrap pieces and a "beach quilt" I am putting together of fabrics that I hand dyed almost 12 years ago.  I promise to take some pictures tomorrow and get them posted.

Oh, and the Urban Patio Garden...taking off pretty well.  Will get pics of that too.  Went and picked up some tomato plants since the seedlings didn't survive.

I won't keep you long here today, just wanted to say hello to all and Happy Quilting!!

So bad dear. I can understand your problem with viral tonsillitis. It is too painful with swelling. Thanks for share your pain.

Bleh. I'm glad you're feeling better and I hope you'll feel completel yourself soon. I'm curious to see your work with the hand-dyed fabrics...when you're feeling better please show us! And I hear you about starting tomatoes...mine are often spindly, tall, floppy things...but fantastic that the patio garden is going so well!

I'm sorry you were so sick! Certainly not fun and you probably could have missed more than 3 days of work. But I'm glad you are on the mend. I'll look forward to your picture!
