Progress on the Urban Garden Project, or....How does your Patio Grow?

I've cheated a bit on the coloring here....couldn't wait for things to bloom so we went and acquired a bunch of pre-bloomers to give the gardening spirit a jumpstart. We got hit with a hard frost a couple of nights ago and lost a portion of the seedlings. (Must remember to monitor the weather a bit more if you are going to uti...lize mother nature.) Too bad we can't purchase extra sunlight and hang it on the patio...that would be awesome.
Speaking of AWESOME.....notice the new benches on the left side that all the plants are sitting on??? $5!!!!!!!!! Found the tops at a local church garage sale and had the hubby and son add legs made of recycled wood from a city project (yes, they said we could take it). Boom!! AWESOME BENCHES!! I'm talking BH&G here;) Glad I let the hubby keep his power tools;)

Everything looks great, the flowes add a lot of color! Hope your weather stays nice. It was about 70 in Albuquerque yesterday, today in the low 50's with wind. It is dying down now but last night and this morning we had 40-50 mph wind with gusts 50-70! Lots of dust and a few snowflakes in the air. Your benches are beautiful and the price is right! What a great deal and they really look nice!

What a great find on those benches. They look great. Love the bright blooms you have there too.

I had your old address, but not your new one. Would you email me the new address?

It must be nice to have a green thumb! I can't claim one. I did plant some herbs this year though! You might envy the sun, but we envy the rain. We are getting some badly needed rain now.
