Hello everybody;)  Hope your weekend went well;)  Mine was pretty uneventful looking back.  I got some more stuff packed up, cleaned up, and such.  I didn't really accomplish anything new and grand on the quilting front.  I did manage to get the little Halloween quilt basted and the binding for it ready.
Oscar is reminding me that quilting is more important that getting the dishes done;)

Katie had asked what method I had decided on for marking the embroidery patterns.  I decided on the water soluble one.  Works like a charm;)  I had bought one that was supposed to disappear on its own, but after 4 days it was still there.  Glad I took the time to experiment and ask questions, otherwise I would be a bit peeved now;)

I found this at Joann's the last time I was there (looking for thread)...
I found it in the novelty section...like always;)  I see another quilt for the nephew in this;)

I thought our move date was next week, but I think I jumped the gun.  It isn't for another 2 weeks.  On the bright side, being pre-packed gives me more time to relax and get some sewing done;)

The air has cleared up here a bit over the last couple of days.  Hopefully they get that fire under some sort of control soon.  I really don't think we are in any danger here, other than the air quality.  We are so used to super clean air here that this is a big deal.

That's it for now;)  Happy Quilting!!

Somehow or other, I think I missed your last three posts. Love the Halloween quilt and your stitcheries are tooo cute! Glad things are going well, despite the move. And the Honeybun quilt? Fabulous!

I think Oscar is telling you that HE is more important than that quilt! Such a cutie! I love the new fabric. And I hope that the fires do get under control soon, not just for your cleaner air, but to minimize the losses going on as a result of them.

Glad things are going really well for you right now. There will be plenty of fretting for later when the move happens! You do know how to find interesting and unusual fabrics! ---"Love"

Kitties know best. It's a good quilt when a kitty says so! Good luck with your move, having things packed early does leave you some time for fun things!

One should always listen to the cat. LOL. Good that you got ahead on your packing, now you can hopefully relax a bit here and there.
Cute fabric find!
