Thought I would pop in before I get too tired to see straight;)  Started this project this past Friday......

I made it from that honeybun that Katie sent to me a long time ago for a give-away she had.  Took me this long to figure out what pattern to use with it.  I was going to try something fancier, but I went with this instead.  I love that little polka dot print...used it for the backing and binding.

I am pooped....even though I really didn't do anything special for the holiday weekend.  I think it's the wind and the heat.  The airconditioner is not communicating with the thermostat, so I am having to monitor it manually....too hot, too cold.  Oh well, at least I have one;)

Take care, and Happy Quilting!!

You started that last Friday? Girl, you are fast! It is adorable! I fear I'm about to have AC problems too; plan to get it checked this week! ---"Love"

What a pretty quilt. I think a simple pattern is often better when you want to showcase lovely fabric.
I'll trade you a little wind and heat for the frost warning we have for tonight!

I saw that and went "hmmm...are those the long-awaited fabrics she won a while back?"...and kept reading and found out yes! The quilt is awesome. I love the grouping of the colors, but totally understand the head-scratching that goes into figuring out what to do with such coordinated fabrics. I like the polka dots too!

Very pretty! I will have to follow your example. I have three jelly rolls I am not sure how to tackle! Sandy: I will trade you our heat and humidity for your frost warning!

This quilt is gorgeous, I love the fun summery prints and the polka-dots are very cute. You did a great job showing all the wonderful fabrics off. This heat will wear you out. We went to some friends house on Saturday night for pizza and Yahtzee. Their swamp cooler is broken and it was hot in the house. We had lots of fun but they are so anxious to get it fixed this week. Have a great holiday!

Sometimes simple is best. This is such a fresh, crisp little quilt, just right. I hope your AC and thermostat decide to befriends again soon.

Our weather is all over the place. I think today it is summer.
