Tuesday Stopover, or I'm Still Here;)

I've been plugging away at my UFO pile/list the past couple of weeks.  I've been tempted a few times (okay, several) to start a new project, but like Katie seemed to know, once you make that list it starts to haunt your conscience;)  I've gotten two of them quilted, one almost quilted, and another one basted and ready to be quilted.

I haven't gotten much done in the past week....been playing the new Fable game.  That, and my allergies have been terrible this season.  Every day around 2 in the afternoon, I get hit so hard it feels like I have the flu.  It only lasts a few hours, but I feel terrible.  I've been taking everything I can to keep it under control, but it's bad this year.  It has kept me from getting out and exercising like I was.  I literally have to close myself up in the house for the afternoon.

But, other than that....my daughter and her husband are finally getting their own apartment!!  They move in on the 15th of this month.  She and I have been "window" shopping via the Internet.....very fun!!  She makes a wish list on sites, and I go see what she's looking at.  We've also been video chatting....I get to see them and the grand baby live!! I was playing with hot wheels over the video last week.  He looks at the monitor while I'm doing stuff and talking....he looks like he's wondering "Who is that crazy lady???"  Good stuff.

Anyway, I think I'm feeling well enough to tackle some more quilting, so I am going to go do that for a bit.  Hope all is well, and Happy Quilting!!!

I hope those allergies leave you alone soon.
Looks like you are making good progress on your UFO list. Keep quilting.
Have fun video chatting.

Alergies are bad this year, I was never bothered with them before I moved to NM. Now, my eyes get itchy and burn. They have been bad this week. Hope you are feeling better soon, if we get a good freeze or if the wind stops blowing, it should get better. You have made lots of progress with your list, keep up the good work! Sounds like you are having a ball with the baby via the internet, enjoy!

If you're closing yourself up in the house for the afternoon, you could be quilting, right?! So it's not all bad! And good for you getting some of those UFOs done. (Having that list is acknowledging they exist, but it's a good thing.) But I do hope the allergens run their course soon so you can get back to normal.

And if your grandson already thinks you're a little nuts, well, go with it. You may be the nutty grandma, but I bet you'll also be the FUN grandma for the same reasons!

Good for you for sticking with your UFO's. It has been very quiet in blogland. Perhaps everyone is working like crazy, or maybe taking a break.

It is fun being the fun/crazy grandma. My four-year-old granddaughter knows that spending time with grandma is special, and that just about anything goes.
