More Goodies, and Breaking News!!

I think I am almost done filling up my mom's birthday box.....
This set of potholders was made with the leftovers from the aprons I made.  I didn't have enough to make myself a set, but that's okay;)
The hubby's been into making candles lately, so I will probably throw in some of those.  Maybe a few other bath goodies, or some homemade chocochip cookies.

As for stuff for my own home...

I used the strips from straightening fabric up for cutting to make this coffee center mat;)  Cute enough, but don't have to be "stressed" about getting coffee on it;)

I pulled these out of my UFO pile.  Figured it was the ideal time to get them completed;)

I used wonder under to stick them down, but I am planning on freemotion quilting them down.

Each one has a different backing.  I didn't want to fuss through the stash to find enough yardage of one print, and this is a great way to use up smaller pieces.

And now for the breaking news....

I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA AGAIN!!!!!!!

Yep, just got the news this morning;)  I've been on the phone either texting or talking to people all morning.  She wanted to wait a bit, but she says it is what is.  I'm hoping for a girl this time;)  It would be nice to make something in pink.

I'm going to relax and get the hubby off to work.  Got tons of things to do later;)
Happy Quilting!!

How exciting! She probably will have her hands full for a few years, but they do all grow up before we know it, and then her house will get all quiet again! I hope it's a girl too! Congrats to all of you! ---"Love"

Congratulations on being a grandma again (soon)!!! Here's to hoping for a girl, but more importantly, a healthy baby. The Halloween goodies are great, too.

All of the Halloween stuff is soooooo cute, love it all. Using all the different fabrics for the backs of the placemats is a great idea, nothing says they have to be the same!

Congratulations grandma to be again! I hope you get to make lots of pink things, keep your fingers crossed! My oldest daughter and her two kids all have birthdays in October. It bugs my grandson that his sister is the same age as he is for 2 1/2 weeks because she was born 11 1/2 months after he was.

What great projects. Super news -- CONGRATULATIONS. A girl would be lovely, but two little boys so close together would sure be a lot of fun.
