Oh my, More Goodies in the Mail;)

I went to check the mail after it cooled off last night...and had to wait until this morning to go get my goody bag from the office......
I don't know who was more thrilled to get this bag of goodies from Mary...me or Oscar;)  Mary, do you have cats?  Oscar dove right into the middle of all these goodies as soon as I opened the envelope;)  The swap blocks, a magazine, chocolate, and some fabrics for Cayden...I'm thinking jumper and/or diaper cover up pant things.  Very cool;)  Thank you Mary;)

This is what I have.....

I think I am going to add Liri's embroidered block to it, and make one more block to even out the number.  I'm still not sure how I am going to put them all together.  I will have to come up with my own idea as I don't want to copy anybody else's;)

And of course...

.....the quilt inspector has to test out every stage of development;)

I've got to get busy and get the swap blocks done that are due now.  We are having a chill day here at the house.  We are headed to Santa Fe tomorrow via the train and are going to tour the area on bike.  Adventuring on a $20 bill;)

Happy Quilting!!

As always, Oscar is stealing the show! The swap blocks are looking great, too. Have fun in Santa Fe!

Oscar is one smart cat! You have a lovely assortment of blocks and your quilt will be unique -- as is everything you make. Have a great time in Santa Fe.

So glad that both of you enjoyed the package! If Oscar likes your dog, that is your clue... Tux (my Shih Tzu) is always by my side, so Oscar must have picked up the scent. Hope there is enough fabric for Cayden and enjoy your trip! Sounds like a thrifty trip & a lot of fun... Mary

Poor Oscar, hard at work again! LOL. Great blocks. I have been playing around with some setting ideas too. Still a work in progress.
Enjoy your trip.
