I managed to accomplish my goal of getthing the top done today.  It turned out a bit smaller than I had thought, so it might be gifted to the grandbaby.  We will see;)

I will have to wrestle with whether or not to add a border, or to just finish it with a black/white print fabric.  Haven't decided on that quite yet.

I'm going to take the dog out for her evening constitutional and get some housework done.  We have thunderstorms moving through, so I need to keep an eye on the lightening strikes.

Have a great evening, and Happy Quilting!!

Love the way it turned out! Either way you finish it will be great, I'm sure.

I wasn't so sure about that green in the last photo, but now I see what you saw - I love it! I think you should definitely try to figure out a border so you can make it large enough to keep, since you love it so much.

I like it! I sometimes have a hard time with to border or not to border. This one would certainly be fine without one. Glad you are stitching away.

I love the jungle/hippo fabric! It looks great the way you set up those blocks. I hope you can find some cute border fabric to make it big enough for you to keep. I think a black and white zebra or leopard print would really set it off.
