Hello.  It's been forever.  And it feels like forever.

The Summer, not to mention, Fall, went by without a blink.

I've taken on the Manager position at my apartment complex.

I got put in charge of "Halloween" at work.

My mom got news that she needed heart surgery.

She went through open heart surgery on Wednesday.

She is recovering.

I've lost 35 pounds.

I'm tired.

I haven't done any quilting since before vacation.

Things, on the grander scale, are okay.

Life has had it's grander points in the midst of all this chaos.

Katie and Beth have that seen that via FB.

At some point, normality will start.

Not sure when.

I'm here.

But not.

It sounds like you have a full slate right now. I hope your mother recovers well and that you get time to breathe a little. Take care of yourself and we'll see you when we see you.

Life can get so busy sometimes, some with things we want and other times with things not so fun. Hope everything settles down for you soon and especially hope your Mom does well in her recovery. Take care and check in when you can!

Somehow I missed the part where you took on managinging the apartments. That is a huge job.
You in charge of Halloween really is a perfect fit. ;)
You have been really busy.
I hope your Mom continues to recovery quickly.
Normal is highly over-rated.
Congrats on the weight loss...
Keep on...

I'm glad to see you back here, even if it's not with quilty goodness. I hope someday you'll get back to that - when life settles down and allows time for that. Give your mom an extra hug from me and I hope she continues to recover quickly. Maybe a hug for the kitties, too? :) As far as "normal"...never heard of such a thing!
