Unexpected Visitors!!!!

My daughter and I were winding up a video chat this past Saturday night when she got a phone call from her hubby.  Next thing I know, she is asking me how far away I am from her.  Mapquest, Weather.com. and a few minutes later and she was packing up a backpack as we were logging off the video chat.  I hit the sack and woke up with a text from her saying she was an hour out of town;)  Got the house cleaned up and dressed and met them down at the local breakfast house.  They came up to the house, visited for a bit, and then took off to get a room and see a show at the local movie house, Cinebar.  I kept the grandson here;)

He has gotten so big!!  And is starting to talk;)  Those eyes.....his moms;)

His grandpa David (my hubby) taught him a new trick while we had breakfast;)

Spent some quality artistic time with his Uncle Michael.

Bonded with Grandpa David...they love each other so much;)  Love at first sight everytime;)

Then some serious man time on the couch watching kung fu movies...gotta get that foreign language training in early:)

Some friendly brother and sister bantering here about who was better at what game;)  Just like when they were little

Looks like a slumber party exploded in my front room;)  Lots of giggles and laughing;)  Great times!!

And then some quiet time;)

It was good to have both my kids in the same room together along with the grandbaby and son in law;)  Hopefully this sort of thing will happen more often now that we are closer to each other.  600 miles is alot easier to traverse than 1100;)

I need to get myself to bed.  I have an appointment first thing in the morning and need to start studying for that interview with Wells Fargo.  Hopefully I will have a job by the end of the week;)

Happy Quilting to All, and to all a good night;)
