Sunday Check In

Thought I would drop in to say hello and announce the winner of my little give-away;)  Once again I had the hubby draw the name, but this time over the phone via a very scientific method....complete intentional randomness.  Just for fun, we tried it twice.  Guess what??  Came up with the same name!!  Too funny;)

Anyway, the winner is Ruth from Country Log Cabin;)  Yay!!  Congrats;)  I am not going to post a picture of the prize yet as I want it to be a suprise when she gets it;)  I will put it in the mail later this week;)

As for what I accomplished sewing wise this week.....
You can find the finished product in the Fall 2010 issue of APQ's Quilt Sampler magazine.  I think it will look alot better once I get the embroidery done.

I spent the day "spring cleaning"...aka tackling housework that I have been putting off for way too long.  The house feels better, but now I don't have any energy to get any sewing done.

The hubby is due home from work soon, so I need to get to making dinner.  Mahi mahi, steamed brocolli, and a fresh salad.  Getting back on track to eating right;)

Happy Quilting!!

Congratulations to Ruth, can't wait to see what she won. I love the quilt top so far, I think it will be fantastic with some embroidery! Love the fabrics, love the pin wheels and the fussy cut fabrics in some blocks. Can't wait to see it!
