Catching up and getting a bit of quilting done;)

I sent the boys off to run some errands, and am spending the time catching up on stuff I needed to get done around the house....blogging being one of them.

I am working on this project right now....
which is slowly becoming this...

It's been a slow project...I think I mentioned that already.  Even though it is all strips, I am having to pay close attention to the placement.  Hopefully it will be a completed top by the end of this week.

I am still trying to get stuff ready for the quilt show that is coming up in two weeks.  Not as much stuff made as I was hoping, but I will work with what I have.  The hubby is working on some beaded stuff for me;)

Anyway, I am going to get back to doing whatever it was that I thought I was doing;)
Happy Quilting!!

That looks like quite the ambitious project you've taken on...and halfway finished! Very masculine - is it for anyone in particular?

And most important: how is your son doing? And how are you all adjusting? (I hope well on both accounts.)

That quilt is looking good! I love the colour contrast. It would be a perfect 'guy' quilt. I have been thinking about your son, and I hope he is doing well.

The quilt is for a client. It's a southwestern motif for his big rig.
As for the homefront, a few bumps in the expectations catagory, but we are getting there;)

I was thinking it reminds me of the South west! Can't wait to see it done!

Looks sorta Hopi or Navajo Indian to me. I like it though. Wonder if I can work it with pinwheels, LOL? It's going to be beautiful!

so glad that you are able to get some sewing done. I love what you are working on.
Sounds like things are settling in with your son. I think of you often and hope that all is working out well.
