Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to Everybody!!!

I've finally gotten settled again, I think;)  My son went back to his dad's house on Thursday.  We had a great time hanging out together.  He and my husband spent hours playing video games, cooking, and otherwise just spending time together.  They hadn't seen each other in over a year.  Good stuff;)

As for myself, I've been pondering what kind of "resolutions" to make for myself for the upcoming year.  Here's what I have come up with so far...

*Stand up straight more often.
*See either the sun rise or set AT LEAST every other day.
*Take one picture every day for the entire year.
*Quilt as more guilt.
*Walk 500 do-able increments.

I think that's it for now;)  Not your "normal" resolutions, but they are mine;)

I've got some new quilting projects on the brain, so I think I may go pull out some of my stash and create something new.  I've worked on my UFO's enough for a while.  I have some of them set up so that when I get bored I can work on the "dirt work" end of getting them done.  I'm going to try and move in a different direction with my quilting this year.  We will see what happens;)

Hope everyone is well, enjoying themselves, and staying warm!!

Happy Quilting To All!!

I'm glad you had such a good visit with your son over the holidays.

Your resolutions sound good to me. I kept track and managed to walk 500 miles in one year, a few years back. It wasn't too difficult with a little each day. Go for it!

Enjoy your quilting, I'm interested to see what your new direction will be.

Happy New Year!

Your resolutions sound pretty doable. I don't like making them because I never keep them... I look forward to seeing what new projects you start this year.

Seems like sensible resolutions to me; and perfectly suited to you; well thought out! I may try to settle in on one or two serious ones tonight. I'm trying to get Christmas down today! ---"Love"

Those are very sensible resolutions. I especially like the one about watching the sun rise and set. We have had some glorious examples of both lately.

I can't wait to see the direction your quilting will take this year. Good luck to you.

Your resolution list looks pretty closee to mine, right down to the standing up straight thing. I'm trying to set a good example for the kiddies :)

Have a great year. I can't wait to see where your creativity takes you.
