But, I am back in action....
I'm in the process of throwing together some Black Magic Cupcakes for the hubby to take to work with him (minus one or two for me). I love this recipe. I usually use dark chocolate cocoa powder, but the store didn't have any for some reason. Oh well, next time. I don't make this very often...it's a very rich cake, and really needs to be had with vanilla bean ice cream;)
I pulled out a UFO (that didn't make it on the list) and am redesigning parts of it. I came across a really cute idea in the newest Quilt Sampler and am going to use it. I cannibalized an old pattern for the bats and cat, made up my own stars...and have it ready to start working on later tonight. I know Halloween is tomorrow, but it needs to get made.
And.....from a fellow quilter that is asking to remain anonymous.....
How cool are those pretties?????! Those big pieces are two yard cuts!! I love them all!
A great big, fat thank you!!!!
The clock is ticking here....I have to quick cool those cupcakes so I can get them frosted and decorated before the hubby leaves for work. I've got laundry that needs to be rotated, and a nap to fit in here some time or another.
Edit to post.....
Done!!! Yum!!! I had one....the rest are going away to work with the hubby!!
Enjoy your day, and Happy Quilting!!

Cupcakes look really yummy.
Great new fabric goodies.
Hope you enjoyed the rest. I do when I take off for a few days and just do nothing.
Your cupcakes look so cute and festive! Bet they are a big hit at your husband's work tonight!
I just finished my Halloween wall hanging last night! It won't be out long this year, but it's ready for next year! Enjoy making yours, it sounds cute!
Seems that a few days off did you some good...look at all you've gotten done! The cupcakes sound yummy and the fabrics from a mystery quilter are goergous. I'm wondering where you're going with the Halloween project...
