Results of Friday Night Sew In....and, I'm Hittin' the Road;)

I spent last night doing a bit of sewing to keep my mind busy.  I still haven't packed, and mom is due here in an hour or less.  Oh well, it will get done;)
Anyway, this is what I worked on last night....
I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture.  It's going to be about 70" x 80" or so.  Just another one of my simple quilts, but now it's a quilt top and not just part of the stash;) That's progress;)
And of course Oscar had to take part in the supervision aspect....

He did a tap dance in the middle of the quilt shortly after the picture was taken.  He seems to have his own ideas about what is important...like playing fetch with his cat toys instead of me sewing;)  Good thing the hubby was around to occupy him for me;)

So, I am out of here for a few weeks.  I'm excited about seeing the grandbaby for the first time;)  I am going to have to take the camera charger and an extra memory stick for all the photos;)  Not sure which way we will take to get up there, but hopefully through the cool part of the country if there is one right now.  I will post photos as soon as I get back;)
In the mean time, Happy Quilting to all!!!

Hope you have a wonderful time with your grandbaby and daughter! Cute pink and black quilt. It's one of my favorite color combos. Hope you get some time to go fabric shopping while you drive!

That is one hard working cat, it can't be easy testing every quilt you sew. LOL. I Like the quilt too.
