Dropping in for a Hello;)

I've got three projects on the table, and not one of them done....
That's the postage 9 patch job on the left, a new pink and black one in the middle, and my mom's quilt on the right.  Mom's quilt it more done that it looks, the pink and black one could be done by late tomorrow (at least the top), and nine patch may go with me to Reno as something to keep me busy between visits with the kids.

I "splurged" and got myself a new box of crayons....

I love the smell of real crayons!!!  When I was in kindergarten, I got to tour the Crayola factory.  To this day, the smell takes me back to a kinder, less stressful time.  I have what I call a Color Jornal.  I use it to doodle in and such....

Nothing spectacular, but between this, some yoga, and a glass of red wine...Momma's not stressed anymore;)

I did find some photos of some old quilts that I made years ago....

You'll have to excuse the picture quality...I didn't feel like un-burying the scanner right now.  I think these are about 18 years old, and I have no idea where the quilts went.  I think I traded the one in the middle for a Christmas tree one year.  We were broke, and that was the only way we were going to have a Christmas tree for the kids.  May not have brought money in, but it was worth the trade.

I got to meet Marsha this past Friday.  We met so I could give her her swap blocks.  It was nice to finally meet someone from our group in person.  If I had known she lived as close to me as she does, I think we would have gotten together sooner.

Anyway, I am finally winding down here.  I'm going to call it a night soon so I can get up and get some more sewing done.

Happy Quilting!!

Your projects look ready to work on. I'm sure you will have your Mom's ready when you see her.

It was fun meeting you and we can get together for some quilting fun after your visit with your new grandson.

Your doodles are amazing! Liri is right, they would look great done up into quilts or embroidery.

We all need more idea, right!

It is so neat that you and Marsha got to meet! I guess that makes three sets of two in our gang that have had that pleasure.
You are a lady of many, many talents! Your drawings are incredible! While they would be lovely embroidered or pieced, I'd want them matted and framed in their original medium. They are truly lovely. ---"Love"

Love your doodles. I love new crayons too. Maybe I'll have to go smell the ones I have LOL.
Your Projects look like they are coming along pretty well, can't wait to see them done.

What a delightful post! Your three projects will come together in their own time, don't fret. I love your doodles and nice quilts. I like the idea of swapping one for a Christmas tree. How marvellous that you and Marsha got to meet. I'm jealous - I'd love to meet you all. ann...
